Grandes Voies | outdoor multi-pitch routes

Between Grenoble and Valence, the Vercors massif, offers on its limestone a significant number of long-pitch climbing routes of all levels. The greatest concentration is around the famous Presles cliff, but many others are distributed in and around the entire massif.

Some examples :

• Presles and its (approximately) 300 routes
• Rocher de Gonson (Méaudre) - Ideal for beginners and progressing
• Petits Goulets (Pont-en-Royans) - Summer cool!
• The 3 virgins of St Nizier-du-Moucherotte - Adventure within reach from Grenoble!

For the summer period, it is also worth mentioning the Dalles de Chantelouve (La Chalp - Massif du Taillefer, near Bourg d'Oisans) and its very affordable major routes in a fresh and green setting.

For your first experiences in multi-pitch routes, you will find below a program of affordable group outings (3 to 5 participants).
